Mindstorms Robotics (18-Week Course)

Build, modify, and program LEGO® Mindstorms™ robots in this exciting hands-on robotics course! Over 18 weeks, students will complete a new engineering challenge each class while developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and programming skills. Working individually with a Modesto Academy LEGO® Mindstorms™ Robotics kit, students will learn to design, build, test, and improve their robots using motors, gears, and a variety of sensors. 

Students will progress from basic robot movement and program flow to using sensors, advanced programming with data wires, and designing more complex robotic builds. As their skills grow, they will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, engineering, and coding abilities while learning to test, troubleshoot, and improve their robots.

Please Note: LEGO® Mindstorms™ Robotics kits are the property of Modesto Academy and will remain in the classroom.
